Hotel Al Piave means "family". We started our business in 1945 just after the end of the Second World War, when Mario Puppin decided to start a new life moving from the Venetian countryside and settling in Venice, where he founded the Osteria "Locanda Al Piave", an old inn where locals loved to eat and sleep. In 1989 the old Locanda Al Piave became Hotel Al Piave after undergoing major restoration works. Mario's son, Paolo Puppin, joined by his wife Mirella Doria, continued to dedicate himself to the business with love and passion. Today Hotel Al Piave is a cosy 3-star hotel in Venice's thriving heart and is managed by Ilaria and Federico, the third generation, Mirella and Paolo's children. Our intention is to welcome all our guests as part of our family.

Thanks to our Transfer service (for a fee), we will organise your transfer thanks to a convenient NCC Van. To guarantee the service, we kindly ask you to request it when booking your stay or a few days before your arrival at the hotel.

Our celiac guests can enjoy a copious breakfast with toasted bread, fruit juices, coffee, jams, a buffet of sweet and savory treats, biscuits and cereal, all gluten-free, to make the best start to your day and enjoy a healthy stay in Venice.
